Looking for active small bands
Hey there!
I’m new to goth music and I’m looking for recommendations for bands to support 🙂 preferably European so I can have an easier time going to shows.
Acts I’m listening to rn;
- Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
- Cocteau twins
- Rendez Vous
- The witches (small Israeli band, their soloist was an awesome woman- definitely recommend listening to them!)
- Christian Death
- HIM
Thanks 🦇🥀✌️

Looking for anything from SE Asia/Japan (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, India, etc)
I’ve listened to plenty of goth in English. Plenty of bands are USA/European, how about other parts of the world

Hey there, I got tickets to see sisters of Mercy on Nov 5th at the forum in Melbourne, Aus, and would love to meet some like minded people in the Melbourne goth scene to go with! Would be more than happy to meet up beforehand to hang and chill, just interested in meeting some cool peeps 😁 I'm 25 btw. Anyone interested?

Goth looking for more goths in Tucson
Hello everyone, I'm looking to expand my friend group. I've made some really interesting friends around Tucson, but I'm looking to find a few more that are interested in the trad goth subculture and things pertaining. I like going to the Surly Wench for fineline and 80s night as well as just hanging out there on Sunday. I like thrifting and making my own clothes, taking walks and visiting spooky or abandoned places,Bookman's etc. I also love music, and like to write it as well. I'm a male in my early 30s but I don't mind hangout from 25 and up. Feel free to dm me or something. I'd also really like to get the Goth community out here to be more cohesive. Any way thanks all.

Looking for smaller, more obscure bands.
I want new bands to get obsessed over. Recently I fell in love with Rosegarden Funeral Party, and they quickly became one of my favorite bands ever. And now I'm just craving new bands. Especially bands that have their own unique twist on the genre.

Looking for music similar to She Past Away’s “Asimilasyon”.
Background: it's been 15 years since I've been listening to “goth” music but it's mostly gothic metal (Tristania, The Sins of Thy Beloved, Theatre of Tragedy, etc.) since I transitioned from listening to metal. I've also listened to Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Lycia, etc. along with metal, but that's all I've known ever since. These past few years, since becoming more connected to music because of Spotify have I began to rediscover the genre and all the bands like Xmal Deutschland, The Sisters of Mercy, Molchat Doma, Lebanon Hanover, and She Past Away. Any similar sounding songs from the title would be appreciated.

Looking for music that sounds like Mephisto Walz’s Eternal Deep album.
What the title says. This album is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Other goth music I like is Only Theatre of Pain album by CD, Adrenochrome by Sisters of mercy, horror vacui, twin tribes, paralyzed age. Thank you!

I’m looking for bands that sound similar to or have the same vibe as London After Midnight.
Any recommendations?
