how do you deal with looks related restrictions at study/workplace?
hello everyone, I'm a young person who isn't working yet because I'm still on my way of getting a degree, but one of my teachers (a subject in my country called basic military training) at school has problems with my long nails and punishes my squad's leader for my long nails. I've never thought about it much, but I was struck with the reality of having to restrict yourself from looks related decisions because your study/workplace doesn't allow it, for example in some workplaces you aren't allowed to have a tattoo, a piercing and so on. how do you deal with that? it's really overwhelming and frustrating to me that the joy of customizing my character is being/going to be taken away from me.

Trying to find who this person is from Sisters of Mercy clip, that looks like my mom!
I just found out about the The Sisters of Mercy – Lucretia My Reflection some months ago and I can't get it out of my mind.
I was shooked to notice how much this person (on the first pic attached) is similar looking to my mom (on the second pic attached). Even more so when you see my mom in real life.
That's an odd question but can anyone help me find out who is this person?

Do y’all like being told that your style looks good in public?
Basically I was walking through my campus and I saw a Goth and I was like “I really wanna tell them how cool they look” but I also didn’t wanna come off as weird. Is it weird?

I know this community is going to be biased on this but, someone close to me recently said I should stop wearing eyeliner and tone down my looks, because I’m 36 and it’s starting to look desperate and off-putting at my age… is it?
