Bauhaus have mentioned dub as an influence on their sound. Have any other early goth/postpunk bands said the same?

I remember a member of Bauhaus mentioning reggae as on influence on Bela, and I was curious if any other bands in the genre have made similar statements.

Did you guys know that 1994’s The Crow had a huge influence on the goth/alternative culture?

I recently made a video on James O'Barr graphic novel The Crow. I also analyze the 1994 Crow film starring the late Brandon Lee. An interesting fact I learned while researching the crow was what a huge influence the film had on goth culture. Especially for the clothing and music. If you guys want to check the video out here you go. https://youtu.be/Dn956UY7DOM

black influence on goth

im black and a few weird goths say i cant be cause that reason.. i don't think yall know goth would not be how it is today without black people .. we started the rock shit we stared the alt rock music way before goth rock was even a thing so i feel yall should do some research before saying dumb shit lol we gave the world rock and now everyone forgets some how the influence we have in every aspect of music and culture in general. we just don't get stuck on one thing we create so much. put some respect on my black goths cause we know the truth we really started shit but whites ran with it and now claim goth cant be black? lol cant even take half the "real goths" serious at this point tbh .. its time for us to take what we started back ! cause some how we are not accepted in something we pioneered is crazy to me

just want to hear want yall think am i wrong ??
