i have a little radio station here in NYC STRANGERRADIO.COM and I'm looking for someone to do a bi-weekly or weekly show. play what ya want. say what ya want. ALL FROM YOUR OWN LAPTOP. its all nonprofit, and volunteer-run,..lemme know if you'd be down. THANKS

Ok so ever since I was 12 I've loved goth culture the style, the music, the art I love it I really mean it and this week I've had an idea for an outfit I really really like

A white long sleeve shirt and black overrals with occult patches sewed to the back with some black converse high tops and one of those demon horn beanies to go with it

It's a very very simple idea but I love it. And the only thing stopping me from getting that is my parents, Why?

1. They don't even know I like gothic culture

   1. Because they think I dress "tacky" and they really want people to think they take good care of me (which they do) so if I wear anything outside of what they like they think that makes me look like a hobo

Hey guys. I’ve noticed I’ve been kind of mostly listening to the same goth bands for a while, & I’d like to branch out a bit.

The goth bands I listen to most are: Bloody dead & sexy, Bauhaus, virgin prunes, the wake, sex gang children, two witches, nosferatu, the shroud, screaming dead, switchblade symphony, 45 grave, 1919, 13th chime, ex-voto, the Danse society, plastique noir, merciful nuns, ghosting, gene loves jezebel, the March violets, she past away (edit: also corpus delicti)

My taste is kind of all over the place lmao so I’m not sure if that tells you anything. Buttt I’ve basically only been listening to these same bands for like the past year. So if y’all could give me some bands to listen to (and maybe specific songs ?) that y’all may think I’ll like, that would be wonderful

This means original band shirts and merch, circa 80s to early 2000s, not new stuff, you have in your collection or want, this isn't a selling/trading post to be clear. You can even include things like buttons/pins, posters, press photos. This can only be goth bands/genres, older items made back in the day. Share pics, links or describe.

I have some sisters of mercy press photos that are kind of warped and a sisters tour shirt I found at a thift store like 10 year ago from the late 80s, christian death and cure shirts I still have from the late 90s that are still wearable, and posters that are still on the walls from the 90s and 2000s.

Original shirts are getting more expensive recently. Sometimes I think we we need to put them in a some kind of goth history museum instead of allowing them certain things to get overinflated.

Hi reddit goths

I want to get a goth rock band together. My local craigslist has been a dead end, I'm keeping my listing live but ready to start thinking of other ideas. I punched up a flyer that I'm thinking about having printed up to leave at likely spots (coffee shops, music stores, local club nights, etc). I can't decide if it's a stupid idea or not, but I kind of feel like I need to try something else before I just accept that I really am on my own here. Just wanted to see if anybody had some insights that I might be able to use or thoughts on the subject. Thanks!

Just figured after the death of VF maybe everyone wants a social media platform again other than Facebook and Instagram. I'd be open to anyones suggestions or interests. Ps: I'm a developer and I'd listen to exactly what this community wants and build it for you if you guys want.
