Teen Gothic

Hey guys,

i am a big Fan of the whole goth subculture and espically the music. I am not really looking like a goth or so but i enjoy the people and understand me with them pretty good when meeting them. Sadly i dont know where to go or where i find goths or atleast people that are also fans of the whole topic. I want to connect more with the culture and so try to find some people to talk with that are also into it.

I am a introvert and have problems with masses of people, so concerts or huge events are really not my thing. Also i am just 16 and cant really go into a bar or so(i dont know).

So…. maybe someone can help me find some places(online or irl) where i can connect with some teen goths.

At best would be places around the south or eastern Germany.

Not a serious discussion thread or anything, I'm just excited about practicing and eventually being able to give back to my local scene and participate in the subculture in a more significant way. Is anyone else planning on doing the same? I love goth music and tons of music in general and I'm so excited to be able to share the weird stuff I find with people 🙂

I personally love writing my own stories, I also play a little acoustic guitar and sing a little in my spare time.

So, I have been in the alt/gothic community for a while and I have just now got Reddit so hello.! Well now on to the assistance, I am a baby bat and don’t know all the ropes and I am worried if there a right a wrong way to goth. I am a short petite girl on here way to go to college in a couple of months. I dress goth for the most part but I listen to any and every type of music, and recently I was accused of being a ‘fake’. Which is astronomic to me but I just wanted to make sure there is a specific way I am supposed to do this than just being my happy self.?

I’m a baby bat looking to connect with my local goth scene but it seems there isn’t really any out here? The closest city to me is Charlotte and even that’s quite far away. I’m unsure of how I’d go about connecting with folks irl. Anyone else out here?
