Any other bands that sound similar to Scary Bitches?

I adore Scary Bitches! I love their unique sound. Are there any other songs and artists who sound similar?

Also, I wish Scary Bitches would make more music someday.

Hi I’m new to goth music and I’m trying to find songs that sound similar to Dissolve by Switchblade Symphony

I think the vocals sound really pretty in this song and I like how “spooky” it sounds.

Leslie rotor speaker cabinet sound on Only Theatre of Pain?

So I've been experimenting with this cool guitar effects pedal on garageband called "spin box". It's essentially made to emulate the sound of a Leslie rotor speaker cabinet. A lot of classic rock bands utilized this sound. TC Electronic makes a similar sounding one called the Vibraclone Rotary.

I'm just curious if anyone knows if Rikk used a similar pedal on Only Theatre of Pain. Many of the songs have that spinning, screeching, a demon is clawing it's way out of a fiery hole sound in the guitar.

What are some non-goth songs that would sound great if they were made into a goth cover?

Hear me out. Somebody Else by the 1975. I've been listening to it a lot recently and I feel like the lyrics and mood of the song would fit in with goth music if it were made into a goth cover.

What stuff made by Cocteau Twins fits the goth sound the most aside from Garlands?

It doesn't have to be albums, individual track names that come to mind would be nice.

A lot of Modern Goth bands sound all similar

This is not a complaint, I just wanted to post this to see if someone else also thinks the same. I feel like a lot of modern Goth Rock/Post-Punk/Darkwave bands sound the same. Don't get me wrong, I love some of the new bands, but there are a lot that replicate a sound and don't have their own personality in their music. A lot of the new bands just use reverb and delay in their guitar, play a bass line inspired by Peter Hook and the singer sings with a deep and emotionless voice. They all try to sound like Joy Division or Molchat Doma, but never actually sound as good as them and it just ends up sounding a bit repetitive. Because of this I almost always find myself looking for underground records of the 80s, because I feel the music was more varied and had more emotion or more creativity. Again, just want to make clear, that I don't think ALL of the modern bands do this and sound all the same.

Underrated Artist: Merciful Nuns: Some call them a SoM knockoff, some call them based. I wish goths talked about this band more. Their sound is phenomenal!

Very good track, alongside “The Broken Ones”. Great album overall, tbh. Do y’all have any other female goth artist recs that sound similar to DD?
