Worried about this guy who is always at my club nights – what would you do?
So I'm newish to my local goth scene, and it's been an incredibly welcoming experience. Everyone that I've met has, for the most part, been very nice. But there has been one guy I've noticed that just…makes me extremely uncomfortable. He only talks to girls (that are very obviously annoyed by him) and interrupts people talking to girls to add them on Instagram and tells them he's "controversial". At first I thought maybe he was autistic, so I really did not want to judge right away. There was one night that he tried to follow me around after speaking a few words to me but I made it clear I wasn't interested.
I eventually found his Instagram from a comment he left on the DJ's page. He had his YouTube linked and oh my god, I almost wish I never clicked it out of curiosity. He is the definition of an incel. Posts saying "I am going to get my dark queen one way or another, she will be MINE". Literally screaming in one video that it's "eating him alive" that he hasn't gotten what he wants yet. He also follows ultra conservative pages, and one called "Black Guns Matter". That alone is concerning enough.
I worry that he is getting more and more desperate, and it just gives me that paranoid thought in my head every time I see him at the club – like does he have a gun on him? The bouncers at my clubs don't search anyone.
I've thought about reaching out to the DJ and informing them of the things I discovered and leaving it at that. I don't know what it takes to get someone banned from a club. But maybe someone else has had bad experiences with him, and the more people that say something about it, maybe he will get banned?
What would you do in this case? Am I overreacting? All thoughts are welcome.

Searching for more information about “Anubis”
Hello everyone, No, its not about the Band "Anubis" from Austrailia, but about another one also called "Anubis" Some days ago i revisited an old gothic-rock Album that my uncle gifted to me almost ten Years ago. I digitalized it back in 2018 and was allways courious to find out more about the Band. As said they´re named "Anubis" and were active in the 90s. probably 1994. It´s a copied CD with only the Band name handwritten on the emty cover. Also my uncle can´t recall if he copied or recorded it himself or got it from someone else. The only other link to the Band i found is this entery https://www.backstagepro.de/anubis and think that could be them because my uncle also said that they were a german band for sure and he must have gotten/ copied/ recorded the CD somewere locally (which would fit mostly). There is also another website called world-of-anubis.de but its no longer active. As said i don´t know more about the band, the album ore the name of the songs. i´ve uploaded them to YT to maybe find out more about them and so i could put the songs in other playlists. here is the link o the album https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNbxHfsxeAws1Oad0TAQCPyL_4jH81JEC I hope anyone here can help me uncover a little bit more about the Artist.

I’m about to see Vision Video live.
Are they any good on stage? I'm hoping they will be good. I like some of their songs although, they're not my most favorite goth band but decent enough. Hopefully, I can met a couple of friends too. I don't have much friends :/
Anyone got experience seeing them live? Is it a good time? Was it worth it?

I feel a bit hypocritical about my goth identity.
I live in the Middle East. Such things are not accepted the way they are accepted elsewhere. Goths are considered weird people who cut veins, most people don't know it's a music based culture.
No one knows that I love gothic music and gothic image so much (maybe they do from the skull painting i draw lol) they don't care what i listen too but they don't like the aesthetic, i wear black most of the times and my mom don't like it she always telling me to add more colors but i just like the way i look with black clotes so basically it's more like a secret hobby. I myself am also too anxious to stand out.
Everyone knows I like metal but not gothic music. Many times there are gothic characters on TV for example and sometimes my family looks at it with a bad eye so I feel a bit hypocritical because on the one hand I am part of this culture but on the other hand no one knows and kinda slam the sub-culture that i like so much.

Hello there, I am not a religious person myself, I was wondering about the Goth Subculture and the usage of the Crucifix as a part of fashion, what are your individual stances on it being worn within the scene?
I am not intending on starting a flame war in the comments, I am only curious as to individual feelings.

Goths and the stereotype about them being “crazy”
I was watching Urban Legend and the goth character is portrayed as someone who is manic depressive and promiscuous. After watching this movie, I started thinking about other goth characters in movies and tv shows and how they are viewed and seen as “crazy” or “mentally unstable”. You see Nancy Downes in The Craft literally go insane with power and ends up in a mental institution by the end of the movie, you have various movies and tv shows with goth or alternative characters where they are seen on social rejects who are prone to insanity. The only accurate portrayals of goths I have seen in media is South Park’s Goth Kids, and Abbey from NCIS. It’s just a thought I had while watching these types of movies where people assume that a goth or alternative person is “crazy” whenever it comes to media. What do you guys think about this?

Any songs about dyeing or painting things black?
I’m making a playlist since every time I dye my hair or paint furniture, I’m compelled to listen to Mephisto Walz’s version of Paint it Black, and Black no 1 (which I am very aware is not goth, don’t worry). Does anyone know of any other songs on the subject to round out this playlist? Thanks!!

I recently moved to the American south, and I’m surprised to see the number of people who are visibly goth or punk sporting confederate flags and/or Republican party merch. How did this happen? What do you think about this intersection of culture/beliefs?
This is wildly different than my experience in New England and I was shocked to see it tbh.
